Magicvalley.com has announced on their site that as of May 1st, they will be a subscriber site.

This means if you want the news you've been getting there to date, you'll have to pay.

Magicvalley.com does say that they are going to offer you 15 page views per month at no charge but after that, you're going to have to pay.  They also will provide urgent news like missing children, weather disasters or dangerous situations,  at no charge.

There are various tiers and discounts for buying a subscription in bulk and additional discounts if you also subscribe to the paper.

For the whole story, check it out at magicvalley.com.

While new to Twin Falls, magicvalley.com is not the only "online newspaper" that's moving to this business model.  Many sites across the country are changing to a paid subscriber base citing decreased ad revenue as one of the major factors.
