Magic Valley Soldier Given Purple Heart

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) Local Army Sergeant Amy Brice received the Purple Heart this afternoon for injuries she sustained in Iraq back in 2005. First lady Laurie Otter awarded the medal to Sergeant Brice inside the Twin Falls National Guard Armory. The Purple Heart is awarded to United State military members who have been wounded in the line of duty. And for Brice, the recognition she received from her country really helps in the healing process.
