TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) Two Magic Valley men learned their sentences this week in separate drug trafficking cases.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, a district judge sentenced Javier Rosas, 23, of Wendell, and Michael Ray Stone, 25, of Twin Falls in U.S. District Court. Both men were given sentences on distributing methamphetamine charges.

Stone will serve 51 months in prison while Rosas got 33 months. The cases were part of a drug crime operation known as the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area in Oregon and Idaho.

A Special Assistant U.S. Attorney was hired by the Ada County Prosecutor's Office to pursue the two cases. A total of 51 people have been convicted under the program.
