Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Multiple law enforcement agencies spent much of the day Wednesday investigating the poaching of a mule deer.

The Idaho department of Fish and Game was the lead agency. An official with the Fish and Game said that a warrant was served in the morning at a home in the 300 block of Fillmore street in Twin Falls.

Officers would not confirm if this was the trophy class mule deer that was killed in around January 26 or 27. It was shot during the closed season within the city limits of Twin Falls. In that case, portions of the meat were taken along with the head and antlers.
