A new trailer has emerged for the upcoming hack-and-slash title, Lords of the Fallen. The cinematic trailer features an exclusive pre-order bonus and a backing track that will be familiar to fans of zombie television shows.

Lords of the Fallen is a single-player hack-and-slash title set in a dark fantasy world of gods and monsters. Developed by German studio Deck 13 Interactive in collaboration with Polish development house CI Games, Lords of the Fallen tells a story of sin, damnation and redemption through the eyes of Harkyn, a convicted criminal. Harkyn will use his impressive combat abilities along with powerful supernatural abilities to defeat the armies of an ancient god who has come to destroy humanity.

The trailer gives us no in-game action, but sets the tone for the game with a dark, atmospheric cinematic and a haunting soundtrack. Fans of 'The Walking Dead' may recognize Mourning Ritual’s low, unsettling cover of Credence Clearwater Revival’s previously un-creepy "Bad Moon Rising" from mid-season trailers back in January.

The end of the trailer reveals an exclusive bonus for pre-order customers. Those who jump on early can grab an official soundtrack, three exclusive weapons and the Monk’s Decipher DLC when the game launches on Oct. 28 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
