Looking for some fun, adventure, and possibly battle an evil sorcerer this weekend? Experience Google Quest, the new 8-bit feature that will aid you in all of your quests.

For this adventure, you sure certainly see a villain or two, require your best steed, and perhaps load up on your detect magic and magic missile spells.

Inspired by the old 8-bit graphics from the Nintendo Entertainment System, Google Quest takes all of its map data and notches down the resolution so that it looks like the original "Legend of Zelda" game. Retina this ain't. But fun? Oh yes.

Check it out and start exploring the Magic Valley in all of its glorious 8-bit majesty.
