Tis the season for giving, and one of the best thing you can give is your time. This “Black Friday” students of Success Martial Arts and their family and friends did just that. Being part of this organization I got the privilege of participating this year. Every year instead of participating in what I call “full contact shopping” the martial arts students help with a service project for the Salvation Army.  Past years they have helped with food boxes and various other projects. This year they got to help organize for the Salvation Army’s newest project the Toy and Joy Shop. It all started as a massive, overwhelming pile of boxes and bags. The mountain of clothes and gifts was left all organized for other volunteers to create the toy shop.  It was uplifting and amazing to see helpers as young as 2 years old and older senior helpers all working together on a common goal for others than themselves.  The Salvation Army is now in need of volunteers to help with the actual operations of the toy shop.  For more information on how you can help call the Twin Falls Salvation Army at 733-8720.
