Legal Smoking Age In Idaho

Currently the legal smoking age in Idaho is 18 years of age. The group of people that believe this is too young is quickly growing in Idaho. 

Tobacco 21 believes raising the tobacco age to 21 could be a strong proposal in Idaho. People in support of moving the legal age to 21 believe this would significantly cut down on the number of Idahoans that begin smoking in the first place.

According to Tobacco 21 Idaho has slightly below national average rates of both high school smoking and adult smoking. So maybe the legal age doesn't need to change.
