Pedestrian Hit by 2 Cars in Twin Falls, Police Looking for Leads

Normally, the hours between midnight and 5 AM are considered to be less busy on Twin Falls roads. There are fewer vehicles on the road but that does not mean the accidents that occur are any less troublesome. Visibility, driver fatigue, and alcohol can all be factors that plague overnight vehicle incident police investigations.

The Idaho State Police is investigating an incident that happened early on February 19th, 2024.

ID State Police Could Use Information After Hit and Run In Twin Falls

Two vehicles struck a pedestrian in the area of Addison Avenue and Washington Street in Twin Falls between 1 AM and 1:15 AM.

One of the vehicles involved is believed to be a light color 2000's Ford F150 extended cab pickup with a long bed. The other vehicle involved is unknown at this time.

The Idaho State Police is encouraging anyone who may have information regarding this incident to contact ISP dispatch at 208-846-7500.

Addison and Washington Busy Place for Accidents Recently

Recently, a late-night accident occurred in the same area resulting in a streetlight being knocked down. The Twin Falls County Sherriff’s Office shared the video asking drivers to be careful in winter driving conditions.

ISP Investigating Accident in Southeastern Idaho

On February 15th, ISP responded to an accident near Dubois that sent two people to the hospital. A driver of a 2024 Peterbilt semi attempted a merge onto I-15 at mile marker 167, drove off the road, and overturned. The Driver and passenger were both from Canada and were transported to the hospital via ground ambulance.

Both incidents remain under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
