Hillary Scott of the Grammy-award-winning trio Lady Antebellum is trying out a fresh look for the summer, starting with a new hairstyle. She posted a photo of the ‘do on social media, showing off the shorter length and lighter color. (Flip through the gallery above to see her best looks through the years.)

It’s quite a difference from the long tresses she’s sporting in the recently-released video for “Long Stretch of Love,” but if the emojis in the caption are any indication, the singer is loving the new look! Scott credits “Lee" at Style House Salon for the color and trim.

"New hair today....thanks @stylehousesalon [Lee] for my color and trim!! #nofilter #newhairnewday #gotmyhairdid," the frontwoman writes, showing off a sassy face to match her modern hairstyle.

In addition to being a mom on-the-go, Scott has been busy with the Lady A trio, collaborating with EDM artist/producer Audien on his latest track, “Something Better,” which is a significant departure from their usual style, but keeps their signature harmonies and catchy melodies intact. Though the threesome has been taking some courageous steps in terms of genre-blurring lately — including a performance with electronic DJ Zedd at the 2015 CMT Music Awards — they are sticking to their roots with their latest single “Long Stretch of Love." The music video is a slightly arty take on their high-energy performance of the rock-country tune, showing off the stage presence and charisma that makes the group a must-see act on the road.

Lady A are currently on their Wheels Up tour in support of their in-flight album 747, with impressive openers Hunter Hayes and Sam Hunt joining them on the bill.
