Ladies, Do You Really Hate Our Beards? [POLL]

I've been trying to grow a decent beard since I was 13. For guys, it's a rite of passage to cultivate that first, paper-thin mustache, or that scruffy 5 o'clock shadow that looks more like the big kids on the playground rubbed your face in the dirt. True fact: most guys like growing facial hair.

But a recent study shows that most women dislike it.

An article published today by Gizmodo presents findings from a study in which a group of bearded men were photographed, then asked to shave and photographed again. These images were shown to women and the researchers found that women—both Europeans and Polynesians—said that the men looked significantly more attractive when clean-shaven.

Crud. Now I have to shave.
