Ahead of Friday's (Sept. 8) release of his new album, Kip Moore has shared two more new tracks off of the project: "Bittersweet Company" and "Plead the Fifth." Both songs appear on the soon-to-be-released Slowheart.

For "Bittersweet Company," Moore put together an entire music video, which can be seen above. In the clip, Moore hitches a ride with a convertible-driving brunette who's headed "south." The video captures the feel of "Bittersweet Company" well, with shots of the open road complementing Moore's simple and beautiful vocals and guitar-playing; the singer and his ride-giver have an obvious connection as the video plays out, but things never turn particularly romantic, and the duo parts ways with a handshake.

Moore co-wrote "Bittersweet Company" with Josh Miller and Troy Verges. The song touches on the mystery of how a relationship can start out passionate and strong, yet grow into something practically unrecognizable as time goes on.

"I remember when we / Loved each other so fearlessly," Moore sings in "Bittersweet Company." "So tell me how the hell did we / Turn into bittersweet company?"

"Plead the Fifth," meanwhile, is the opening track of Slowheart, and the namesake of Moore's upcoming fall tour. The song was penned by Luke Dick and Josh Kear, and though it's also about the end of a relationship, it's a true representation of Moore's signature upbeat mixture of country and roots music.

"Go ahead ask anything you want / Do I miss you? I can't say I don't," Moore sings to open "Plead the Fifth," which can be heard below. In the chorus he continues, "Have I ever mixed your memory with Tennessee? / Have I ever dialed you up but never let it ring? / Do I wonder where you are with every sip? / Getting onto who you might be with? / Drown myself in 90 proof, what else? / I plead the fifth."

Slowheart is available for pre-order via iTunes and Amazon. Moore's Plead the Fifth Tour is scheduled to kick off on Oct. 19 in Bowling Green, Ky., with dates throughout the South and Midwest scheduled into December; more information can be found at KipMoore.net.
