Killer instinct, Trials Fusion, Mirror’s Edge Get Minecraft Treatment

On the PlayXBLA website, Microsoft announced that the sixth downloadable skin pack for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition will be released soon, and will include characters from Killer Instinct and Trials Fusion. Another update on Twitter reveals that Faith, the star of the Mirror’s Edge series, will also be included.

The announcement gives us a look at the eight Killer Instinct characters that will soon be available for purchase; Orchid, Fulgore, Sadira, Glacius, Jago, Spinal, Thunder and Sabrewulf (awww, he's so cute). These represent the eight characters released in Xbox One’s Killer instinct Season 1. Two riders from Trials Fusion will also be available, including the Outsider and Biotech costumes.

On their official Twitter page, the Mirror’s Edge team announced that Faith will be part of Skin Pack 6, as well. The new costume design for Faith from the upcoming Mirror’s Edge prequel is being used, giving us our first chance to play as a younger version of the nimble heroine. Though, to be fair, she probably won't be all that nimble in Minecraft.

No price or release date has been announced yet, but every prior skin pack has been priced at 160 Microsoft Points or $2.00, so we’re expecting the same for this one.
