Kenny Foster released a new album in April, and he's got a new music video for one of its songs, "Stand," to share exclusively with The Boot's readers. Press play above to watch.

Directed by Kenny Jackson of Anthem Pictures and edited by Adam Taylor, Foster's "Stand" music video finds the singer standing amid a Western desert landscape as he sings and performs the song. Foster co-wrote "Stand" with Dan Henig and Stephen Salyers; Mitch Dane produced the track, which opens Foster's newest album, Deep Cuts.

"It's a hell of a way to start a record. There's no easing into this one," Foster says of "Stand." "There's no mincing of words with "Stand" ... With all of the tumultuous situations we find ourselves in, it'd be nice to step from behind our polarized defense systems and find some common ground to start from in order to make this the world we want to live in."

Deep Cuts, which is available for download on iTunes, was released in April. Although Foster -- a Missouri native -- has been living and working in Nashville for a while now, the record is only his second full-length release. Previously, Foster released two EPs (one in 2014, one in 2011) and a seven-track record in 2008.
