There has been much talk and speculation over which cast members, if any, would return for 'Jurassic Park 4'. Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern have said publicly they haven't been approached about returning for the new film, but it turns out one of the original 'Jurassic Park' cast members will return after all. Who will it be?

Probably not who you expect.

Director Colin Trevorrow spoke to IGN about the status of 'Jurassic Park 4' and was quickly asked about the film's cast. Trevorrow confirmed Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, but also dropped some additional, previously unknown news:

This hasn’t been announced yet, but BD Wong will be returning as Dr. Henry Wu. He had a much larger role in the original novel, he was the engineer of this breakthrough in de-extinction. He spent two decades living in Hammond’s shadow, underappreciated. We think there’s more to his story.

Dr. Henry Wu, you remember him, right?

While Dr. Wu had barely a few minutes screentime, he was one of the speaking roles that didn't die, so it's at least possible he could return. Just the mention of the "he spent two decades living in Hammond's shadow" makes us think that Dr. Wu has a more sinister presence in the upcoming 'Jurassic World'.

BD Wong is probably the last 'Jurassic Park' actor anyone would've guessed would be returning for a major role in 'Jurassic Park 4' but the way Trevorrow explains it actually makes sense.

'Jurassic World' opens in theaters on June 12, 2015.
