Our great nation's 236th birthday is almost upon us. Twin Falls and the Magic Valley hosts some truly spectacular 4th of July events and fireworks displays. From Trailer Races of Destruction to Sagebrush Day Parades, here's what's going on this July 4th in the Magic Valley.

On July 3rd, things will get a little crazy at the Magic Valley Speedway. It will be a great night of racing action, and you're in for a treat: the fan favorite Trailor Race Of Destruction. It's every bit as fun as it sounds. And then stay for the Pepsi Fireworks Show which never fails to excite. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $25, and worth every penny. The Magic Valley Speedway is 1 Mile West of the Twin Falls Airport.

Each year, the City of Twin Falls puts on a spectacular show and despite difficulties in raising money this year, they plan to do the same thing. The fireworks are shot off on the north side of CSI's campus, and there is music, food, and games for the kids across from the Herrett Center. And there's a patriotic concert by the Twin Falls Municipal Band in front of the Fine Arts Center. Pack a picnic, bring your camping chairs, and enjoy the evening with your loved ones. Be sure to get there early or expect to go for a bit of a walk because North College Rd. will close at 7:00 PM and parts of Washington St. N. and Falls Ave. will close at 9:00 PM.

Buhl is the place to be for the July 4th Sagebrush Days! This family event features a Trout Feed on July 3rd at the West End Senior Center and a full ICCP Rodeo on July 3rd and 4th. The annual Sagebrush Days Parade starts at 10am on the 4th and is one of the longest parades in the area. Fireworks follow at dusk and are always an amazing display.
