Jerome, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - An alleged road rage incident ended with the arrest of a Jerome man. Just after 6 p.m. on Friday, a call was placed to 911 by the driver of a Mazda.

Police say the call first came in from the East Ranch View in the Big Little Ranch Subdivision. The driver told authorities that someone in a white pickup was ramming his vehicle. The driver of the vehicle continued to update the 911 dispatcher and reported they were traveling north near the 400 road on Golf Course Road.

The pickup continued to strike the Mazda, which caused the driver to lose control and spin out. Police spotted the White Ford Pickup near the overpass of I-84 in front of Subway. Authorities say the driver struck the guard rail on the overpass and continued to travel. The driver then stopped the vehicle in the parking lot of Walmart where police conducted a high risk or felony stop.

Yancy V. Farfan, 23, of Jerome was taken into custody where Jerome county deputies charged him with 2 counts of Aggravated Battery with the use of a deadly weapon, leaving the scene of an accident, driving without privileges and reckless driving.

The city of Jerome Police officers then charged Farfan with Felony Driving while under the influence, Alluding an officer, and theft by receiving stolen property. The truck had been reported stolen earlier. There were no reports of any injuries.
