It looks like Jason Aldean isn't the only person in the family with musical talent! The country rocker's eldest daughter, Keeley, was gifted her first guitar recently—and based on the video he shares via social media, she's eager to learn the craft.

Aldean took to Instagram to shine a spotlight on his daughter and her burgeoning talent by capturing her first lesson on her new guitar. The young player is setting high standards for herself, using one of the most famous rock songs in history to practice to.

Yep, she's cutting her teeth on Aerosmith's "Walk This Way." Aldean captioned the video with an apt hashtag: "#shreddin."

"Watch out @joeperryofficial," the proud dad added. The legendary Aerosmith guitarist just may have some competition in time!

The "Lights Come On" singer revealed in an interview with Taste of Country Nights' Sam Alex that his daughter approached him a while ago about her desire to learn how to play guitar, and he's since been helping her learn by showing her various instructional videos on YouTube.

While she does have a musical example in her father, it turns out Keeley doesn't have any plans to play country songs like her dad. She's opting more for a Guns N' Roses sound.

Still, Dad isn't offended. "It’s pretty cool that she’s just showing interest in it. I think any time that you can learn to play an instrument, no matter what it is, that’s only going to be a great thing," he says.

Like his daughter, Aldean is about to step into new territory too. He's opening his own venue titled Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar in downtown Nashville in June of 2018, just in time for CMA Fest.
