TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) One person had to be taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash involving a semi truck in Gooding County Tuesday.

According to Idaho State Police the crash happened in a construction zone at just after 2 p.m. near Wendell. ISP says a Toyota Camry, driven by Blanca Guerra, age 26, of Blackfoot, slowed for traffic ahead of her and was hit by a semi truck from behind. The truck, driven by Juan Tellez, age 37, of Jerome, then jackknifed block the eastbound lane and part of the westbound lane. The Toyota was bushed into the back of a cargo van. Everyone involved did have their seatbelts on. Guerra had to be taken to the hospital. The interstate was blocked for less than an hour while crews worked to clear the crash. Gooding County and Idaho Transportation Department helped ISP with the crash.
