It’s Free Fishing Day In Twin Falls – Fish On!

Today (June 9) is free fishing day in Idaho. Don't worry about getting a fishing license or even gathering up your tackle--Idaho Fish and Game is letting everyone in the state of Idaho fish free today, and in some areas are even providing the rods and tackle.

At several places around the Magic Valley Fish and Game will have everything you need. One of those places is at the Hagerman State Fish Hatchery. From 9am to 3pm Fish and Game will loan out the equipment and teach people how to fish.

You have no excuse not to take your family fishing today. Even if you come home empty-handed, it's still an amazing way to spend time and bond with your family. Last weekend I took my son Jack on his first fishing trip to the Filer Ponds and didn't catch anything, but we had a great time.
