UPDATE, 6:15 p.m.: One person taken by air ambulance to St. Aphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise after being involved in a three-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Twin Falls County.

Idaho State Police investigated the crash that happened a little after 2:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 93, about a half-mile south of the Highway 93/U.S. Highway 30 junction .

According to ISP, Filer resident Carl Pulsifer, 80, was northbound on Highway 93 in a 2003 Ford F-350 pickup. Melora Kellis, 33, of Twin Falls was driving behind Pulsifer in a 2008 Dodge Caravan. Pulsifer was stopped to turn into a driveway when Kellis struck the Pulsifer’s Ford from behind.  Chelcie Eager, 78, of Sterling, Ark., was southbound on Highway 93, passing the two vehcile in a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado, when his vehicle also was hit.

Kellis’s Dodge came to rest in the northbound lane, while Pulsifer’s vehicle came to rest off the right shoulder of the northbound lane. Eager continued driving, but returned to the crash.

Kellis, who was not wearing a seat belt, was transported to St. Alphonsus in Boise.  Pulsifer and his passenger, Joyce Pulsifer, 74, of Filer were both taken to St. Luke's Magic Valley by ground ambulance.  It is unknown at this time if they were wearing seat belts.  Eager, who was wearing a seat belt, was not taken to the hospital

Both lanes were blocked while crews cleaned up the crash. The incident is under investigation.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Idaho State Police currently is investigating a three-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 93 at mile post 40 south of Twin Falls.

The northbound and southbound lanes of travel are blocked at this time. ISP says motorists should use caution when driving through the area.
