TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — Idaho State Police are advising motorists to be alert for slow-moving farm equipment now that farming season has arrived.

Corp. Ben Comoroski tells The Times-News that a common cause of crashes is drivers misjudging the lack of speed of farm equipment moving on roads. He says sometimes motorists don't see farm equipment until it's too late because they're driving too fast.

Experts suggest that drivers slow down immediately when they spot the orange triangle on farm equipment that typically indicates a vehicle moving much slower than the speed limit.
