When we Christmas shop for our family we usually buy things that we personally like. So it's not unheard of to buy something for someone and then end up keeping it for yourself, but does that make us selfish? Probably but everyone does it.

A new survey from FemaleFirst found about one in three people have bought someone a Christmas present . . . then decided to keep it for themselves.

And women are more likely to do it than men, 34% to 26%.

The survey also found about half of people have bought themselves something while they were doing their gift shopping this year.
