Is Anyone from Twin Falls Getting Friend Requests from Skippy of “Family Ties?”

Is anyone from around Twin Falls getting Facebook friend requests from Skippy of Family Ties?

My wife sent me a text asking me if I remember "Skippy" from Family Ties. Of course I remember Skippy! He was the awkward, loveable kid that lived next door to the Keaton family and was totally in love with Malory. I asked why the reference and she said that he (The actor, Marc Price) had just friended her on Facebook. Well, that's pretty cool! I've been cyber stalking celebs for a long time and have yet to have any of them accept my repeated friend requests and here my wife gets an unsolicited request out of the blue. It probably has nothing to do with the fact that she is way prettier than I.

I went to send Marc a friend request myself and I noticed that he's recently friended a few folks I know from around the Twin Falls area.

I wonder what gives?  I did hear that Marc was going to be doing stand-up at Diamondz Event Center so I wonder if this is a bit of a social media buzz tactic. Perhaps, but I'll take the hook. I imagine it's pretty cool to receive a friend request from an actual celebrity... and we're not talking about a fan page. These are friend requests from his actual, personal page. If you've gotten a friend request from Marc Price (Skippy), let me know.

Oh... and ahem... Marc has yet to accept my request.  :)
