An iOS release of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies is coming to North American Apple devices soon, according to Capcom Unity.

While Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, the fifth in the Ace Attorney series, has been available on the Japanese iOS App Store since yesterday, the North American release has yet to appear. Capcom’s announcement today confirms that the game will release in the west at some point, and will include all the content from the original game in full HD.

The Ace Attorney series, much like the Professor Layton series that once crossed over with it, has traditionally seen long delays between Japanese and American releases due to the extensive amount of localization needed. Dual Destinies, however, has already had its 3DS version translated, leading the Capcom employee to post, “I can’t give an exact release date right now, but rest assured it will be quite soon , so for now let’s just enjoy this fleeting moment in time where we know something great is on the way.”

Unfortunately, Capcom has never released an Ace Attorney game for Android devices, so we are expecting Phoenix will only appear on the iOS format.

Most criminals in Phoenix Wright don't know how to properly hide a body, but we do in this 5x5 video.
