TWIN FALLS, Idaho (News release) – The College of Southern Idaho invites you to immerse yourself in the arts at the first ever CSI Spring Art Experience, April 27-30.

The four-day show will be anchored by outdoor performances each evening of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, directed by Shane Brown, and performed by the CSI theater Department on the CSI Globe Stage, a unique outdoor performance space designed and built by CSI professor Laine Steel especially for this performance.

The event will also feature other live performances on the stage throughout the week. Those who want to learn more about Romeo and Juliet and Shakespeare are invited to gather at the Magic Valley Arts Council at 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 29 for the Director’s Circle - an intimate discussion over food and wine - with director Shane Brown.

The experience will culminate Saturday, April 30 with a special multi-disciplinary arts fair, featuring visual and performing artists and teachers from the college and the community, in exhibitions, performances, items for sale, and hands-on arts experiences throughout the afternoon.

You might learn how to dance the Charleston, throw a pot, beat a djembe, or learn perspective drawing. Don’t miss the special juried CSI Student Arts Show running April 12-May 14 in the Jean B. King gallery at the Herrett Center for Arts and Science.

The complete event itinerary can be found at the Fine Arts link on the CSI website.
