Many of you remember Ikaruga for its amazing, color-coordinating shooter mechanics. We're glad to report that its creator has announced that he is working on a new shooter for PlayStation 4.

Siliconera reports that Ikaruga creator, Hiroshi Iuchi, has announced on his official blog that he is working on a brand new shooter expected to release on PlayStation 4. Iuchi has been working at M2, a studio known for porting older games onto current systems, for about a year so far. This was after his many years spent at G. Rev, Treasure and freelancing. M2 let him announce that their newest game is a shooter called Ubusana.

While he couldn't really say much about it, he did mention that it will be a digital title for PlayStation 4 and suggests there is a chance we could see it on other consoles as well.

Stay tuned as we will provide up-to-date coverage on Ubusana once more information is available.
