BOISE -- A 22-year-old Nampa woman who admitted killing a Garden City man and hiding his body underneath his home will spent at least 20 years in prison.

Jordan Marie Shaver pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the shooting death of 49-year-old Brian Barton Geddes.  Shaver confessed she shot Geddes in the back of the head with a handgun on Oct. 16, 2012. Prosecutors says she lived in Geddes’ home, drove his cars and spent his money for two weeks after the shooting until the death was discovered and she was arrested.

Police found his body wrapped in a tarp in the crawlspace beneath the home on Nov. 2, 2012. Judge Timothy Hansen sentenced Shaver to life in prison.  She will be eligible for parole after serving 20 years behind bars.
