CASTLEFORD, Idaho (KLIX)- Idaho wildlife managers say a pronghorn antelope was found poached near Castleford sometime in May. Idaho Fish and Game investigators say they found the remains North of the town on 1050 East and 3150 North.

The pronghorn had been skinned and gutted sometime between May 11 and 21, and whomever killed it took the meat and left the hide and entrails. The animal was also pregnant with two fawns that were also left by the road.

It was originally thought to be roadkill until further investigation determined it was a poaching case. If you have any information call Fish and Game's Regional office at 208-324-4359 or the Citizens Against Poaching hotline at 1-800-539-4428.
