CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — Two 16-year-old juveniles police in southwest Idaho say took part in stealing a handgun that a 15-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed himself with are facing charges.

Caldwell Police Chief Chris Allgood tells the Idaho Press-Tribune in a story on Wednesday that one of the teens faces potential charges of burglary and grand theft. He says the other is facing charges of abetting burglary and aiding and abetting grand theft. Names of the two teens from Caldwell haven't been released.

Israel "Ree Ree" Briones of Caldwell died March 13 after police say he was handling the stolen gun at the Caldwell home of a friend when it discharged and struck him in the head.
