Meridian, Idaho (Idaho State Police) - The Idaho State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested Michael Dauber of Idaho City on Monday for the first degree murder of Joshua Reddington.

46 year old Michael Dauber was served the arrest warrant at the Ada County Jail where he is currently awaiting trial for the murder of Steven Kalogerakos.

On October 7th detectives discovered the dismembered skeletal remains of Reddington in Boise County at a remote cabin at 13 Betty Lane and the property surrounding it. Detectives were led to the property after they received information while investigating the murder of Kalogerakos.

Reddington's remains were positively identified by DNA by both the Idaho State Police Forensic Services and the FBI's Laboratory in Virginia.

Investigators believe that Reddington was killed shortly after he went missing on May 26, 2000, as he was last seen in Idaho City during that Memorial Day Weekend. Reddington was a resident of Salmon, Idaho and was 25 years old at the time of his death.

Idaho State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation were assisted in this investigation by the Boise County Sheriff's Office, the Idaho City Police Department and the Lemhi County Sheriff's Office.

Dauber's preliminary hearing has been set for December 29th.

ISP arrested Dauber for the murder of Kalogerakos on March 12, 2014. Kalogerakos, age 42 at the time of his death, was also a resident of Idaho City and was first reported missing in January 2008. Idaho State Police recovered his remains in the desert southeast of Boise in October 2013.
