SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Court documents say an Arby's restaurant manager tried to escape a gunman by jumping out a drive-through window before being shot and killed last weekend.

The police affidavit obtained Wednesday contains details about the death of restaurant manager Belinda Niebuhr and two other people. Authorities say John Lee, the 29-year old suspect, shot and killed Niebuhr along with his mother and another person on Saturday at separate locations in Moscow, Idaho, before fleeing to Washington state. Lee remains in the Whitman County Jail.

An extradition hearing set for Friday will determine if he returns voluntarily to Idaho, where he faces three counts of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree attempted murder. Lee's public defender Steve Martonick did not immediately return a telephone message seeking comment.
