KETCHUM, Idaho (AP) — The Sun Valley Assistant Police Chief received a withheld judgment after pleading guilty to driving under the influence, meaning the conviction could be removed from his criminal record if he follows the terms of his probation for 18 months. The Idaho Mountain Express reports  Magistrate Court Judge Jason Walker sentenced Mike Crawford on Tuesday.

Walker ordered Crawford to complete 40 hours of community service and suspended his driver's license for 120 days. Crawford can drive for work after 30 days. Crawford was cited on Aug. 11 after a Hailey police officer said he saw Crawford back his pickup into a parked vehicle three times. Court records say Crawford's blood-alcohol level was 0.18 percent, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08.
