Idaho Pilot Ok after Airplane Crash

CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — An airplane crashed as the pilot was trying to land at the Caldwell Airport, but the 58-year-old Meridian man was able to walk away as flames destroyed the plane. Police in Caldwell say the Cessna crashed at about 10 p.m. Sunday. Phillip Jacobs was uninjured and no one else was in the plane. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.
