CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — A 22-year-old Caldwell man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for vehicular manslaughter for a December 2012 crash in Nampa that killed 15-year-old girl and injured several others.

Canyon County prosecutors say Freddy Camacho-Quezada will serve 18 months in prison before being eligible for parole. Third District Judge Bradly Ford also ruled Tuesday that Camacho-Quezada can’t drive for five years after he is released from prison.

Police say Camacho-Quezada was driving more than 100 mph on Dec. 15 when his car crashed and rolled several times, coming to a rest on its top in a dry canal. Stephanie Rodriguez of Nampa died and all but one of the other eight people in the car were taken to the hospital.
