BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho prosecutors are considering whether to bring criminal charges against a man after police said he accidentally drove into a crowd of mourners, injuring several people.

The Idaho Statesman  reports police have forwarded their findings to the Ada County Prosecutor's office for possible criminal charges. The 86-year-old man's name has not been released. Police say he was driving on Oct. 7 when he accidentally plowed his car into a crowd of people leaving a Boise funeral.

The crash sent nine people to the hospital, including a 5-year-old boy whose legs were broken when he was run over. All those injured in the accident have since been released.
