GLENNS FERRY, Idaho (AP) — A high school in southwestern Idaho is forfeiting its next two football games after several athletes broke school policy. Glenns Ferry High athletic director Kelli McHone said the issue is affecting three sports teams, but football was hit the hardest. She did not say what policy was broken. The forfeiture cancels Wendell High School's homecoming game on Friday night, the final home game of the season which was to be celebrated as Senior Night. Wendell High Principal Jonathan Goss says he understands the need to discipline the students, but was disappointed they couldn't work something out so the Wendell kids could have their homecoming game. Glenns Ferry is also forfeiting its game at Declo next weekend. The forfeitures will drop Glenns Ferry to 0-7 on the season, eliminating them from the playoffs.
