TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-  A blown out tire sent a family of four to the hospital Monday afternoon. According to Idaho State Police a family from Nampa was heading west on I-84 in Cassia County when their tire blew out just south of the I-86 and i-84 interchange around 5:40pm. ISP say Brian Pennington, 42, of Nampa, was driving a white 2000 Mercury Mountaineer.

The blowout caused the driver of the SUV to over correct and lose control, rolling onto the right of the interstate. The family was taken to the hospital. Everyone except a teenager had been wearing a seat belt. Part of the interstate had to be closed for about 2 hours. No word on the condition of the family.
