Hyrule Warriors Trailer: Three New Characters, Power Gloves, Demise and More

Link gets a new weapon and fights a boss in this Hyrule Warriors trailer while Princess Ruto, Darunia and Sheik all join the fight.

Gematsu reports that Darunia the Goron, Princess Ruto the Zora and Sheik are all confirmed, playable characters in Hyrule Warriors based on this week's issue of Famitsu (pictured below). This week's Japanese magazine focused on Lana and Impa's weapons and explained a Gold Skulltula collection system.

Along with this new information, Tecmo Koei released another trailer for Hyrule Warriors. This video features Link trying out his new Ball and Chain weapon, which returns from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. While using the Chain, Link is also using a new accessory which acts as a combination of the Power Glove and Mole Mitts of previous Zelda titles. Lastly, he takes the giant form of Demise, the antagonist from Skyward Sword.

Hyrule Warriors will pit Ruto, Darunia and Sheik against the forces of Ganon on Sept. 26 exclusively on Wii U.
