Hunter Hayes made the Christmas season much brighter for one very special fan on Monday night (Dec. 1).

The singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist worked with the Make-a-Wish Foundation and Macy’s Believe campaign to invite one of his biggest fans, Courtney, to the taping of the 'CMA Country Christmas' special.

For every letter to Santa dropped off at Macy's Believe stations nationwide or created online, Macy's has agreed to donate a dollar to Make-a-Wish, up to a million dollars. The campaign brought Courtney and Hayes together backstage prior to his performance on the special.

The thrilled fan not only got to hang out with her favorite country star, she even got to duet with him on 'Wanted' and 'Cry With You,' as shown in the video above. Hayes also presented Courtney with a bag full of t-shirts, mugs and other assorted goodies, as well as a signature Martin acoustic guitar.

Courtney then got to pick out whatever she wanted from Macy's to wear to the taping later that evening, where she and her family had front row seats for Hayes' performance of 'Merry Christmas Baby.' Check out that footage below.
