Hundreds Pay Respect to North Idaho Officer Killed on Duty

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Hundreds of law enforcement and community members gathered at a high school in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for the funeral for slain police Sgt. Greg Moore.

The 43-year-old Moore was shot and killed early Tuesday while on patrol. Services for Moore were being held Saturday at Lake City High School in Coeur d'Alene. After the service, a lengthy procession of law enforcement vehicles accompaned Moore's body to Forest Cemetery.

Court records say 26-year-old Jonathan Renfro admitted to the crime during an interview with law officers. He has been charged with first degree murder.
