How to Pronounce the Idaho Town of Weippe

Here's another city to add to our Idaho pronunciation guide as suggested by you on our facebook page.  The city of Weippe. This little town with a listed population of about 413 is about 260 miles, straight north of Boise and is probably one of the most mispronounced towns in Idaho.

I've heard everything from Whippee to Wewipe.  Feel free to forward this to your friends from out of state or to your friends who live in Weippe.  They might get a kick out of it.
