Well it turns out you can't try to be even remotely funny, creative, or silly in advertising anymore. The good news though is that if you ever bought a Red Bull energy drink you are entitled to $10 because (as if you didn't already know) Red Bull does not actually give you wings.

That's right a guy sued the beverage company because he didn't grow wings...well actually it is because Red Bull doesn't actually improve your performance or concentration. Is the fine line between creative and false advertising that thin?

A 7 oz. cup of drip coffee contains approximately 115 to 175 milligrams of caffeine, depending on the blend, and a 12 oz. serving of Starbucks coffee costs $1.85 and would contain far more caffeine than a regular serving of Red Bull. An 8.4 oz. can of Red Bull contains 80 milligrams of caffeine.
If you want in on this frivolous/ridiculous lawsuit all you need to do is fill out a form at the link below. You don't even need a reciept...because you don't really keep those for energy drinks and it probably grew wings anyways.
You should also be aware that Red Bull settled for $13 million. So if too many people file claims then the $10 for everybody will get diluted and you may only end up with a dollar or less.
