If you have ever traveled from one state to another, you have most likely noticed that things just don't cost the same in other states. From gas prices to food, the prices are all over the place across the country. I've really noticed differences when vacationing in California and Hawaii. Where have you really noticed your money not buying as much - or buying more?

According to a study by The Tax Foundation on the relative value of money, $100 in Idaho really gets you about $106 worth of products. Nice news for Idaho...not so nice in Hawaii where it only gets you about $85.

It is interesting to note that on this map $100 isn't worth exactly $100 in any state. It's all above or below.
