How Many Dinners Does it Take to Become Serious?

A new study says that around 3% of first dates eventually turn into marriages.  They also note some benchmarks before a couple moves from dating to having serious marriage potential. 

It takes 22 dinners, seven major arguments, two trips, and spending $4,700 on each other.
