FILER, Idaho (KLIX)- An anonymous threat at Filer schools had staff and law enforcement concerned Tuesday evening. According to School Superintendent John Graham an anonymous bomb threat was posted on the social media app called After School. The app allows users to post comments privately and anonymously. Graham said students alerted staff Tuesday and law enforcement were notified.

The superintendent says he and police went through the high school thoroughly that night until about 1a.m. Wednesday morning. Nothing was found but police remained present at Filer schools for most of the morning Wednesday. Graham says it was a hoax threat that wasn't very specific. He could not provide much information on those responsible for the threat, but says they are being dealt with. KMVT News is reporting that three students are facing charges.

Graham credits students with being attentive and informing staff. He says procedures have been put in place to hopefully prevent another similar incident from happening. Graham says they are taking a closer look at the app involved.
