TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) The Herrett Center and Faulkner Planetarium will offer special Thanksgiving shows and activities for children of all ages. After the big feast families will be able to stop buy the weekend after Thanksgiving at catch a show or do a little shopping ahead of the Christmas holiday.

The Herrett Center will be open 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25-26. Special shows will be presented in the Faulkner Planetarium at 1:30, 2:30, 3:30, 4:30, 7 and 8 p.m. both days. Pink Floyd, The Star of Bethlehem, The Longest Night: A Winter's Tale, and Titans of the Ice Age will be playing at various times.

Children will be able to stop buy for activities scheduled on Friday and Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Rick Allen Room. Items more than $5 will be 20% off in the gift shop.

Admission to the museum galleries is free. Admission to planetarium shows is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $4 for students, including CSI students with a valid student ID; children under age 2 are admitted free.
