Here’s How to Play Far Cry 4 with Friends Who Don’t Have It on PlayStation Consoles
One of the coolest things about the upcoming first-person shooter, Far Cry 4, is its ability to let players on PlayStation consoles play with their friends who don't have the game. Let's see how that works.
According to Kotaku, Ubisoft issued an official statement describing how the game-sharing co-op will work for Far Cry 4:
The "sender" will receive ten "Keys to Kyrat" which he can send to ten PSN "friends" of his choice. The "friend" will receive a single unique key allowing him to download a PSN exclusive trial version of the game allowing co-op play in the open world with the "sender" for a limited amount of time. XP, loot, etc that the "friend" earns will then carry over if they buy the game.
That doesn't sound like too much hard work, now does it? Just follow those simple directions and you'll be on your way to riding pachyderms with your pals and shooting up Kyrat in good company.
We can only hope that future games will provide similar game-sharing features on both PlayStation and Xbox devices. Far Cry 4 will be available on PC PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Nov. 18.
