Sad news: Charles ‘Chuck’ Foley, the man who invented the popular game Twister, died July 1 in suburban Minneapolis. He was 82.

Have you ever played Twister?

I remember playing Twister as a kid and we had a lot of fun. Twister was usually reserved for birthday parties and summer barbeques. It wasn't really a game you could bust out on a rainy day and play by yourself.

Then, when I was in college, there was a resurgence of the game for all the reasons you can surmise. I've even heard that there are a few underground, hardcore Twister clubs, but the first rule of Underground Twister Club is you don't talk about Underground Twister Club.

So, with a heavy heart, I must call "right hand blue," and drop the spinner on the ground.
