An oversight on Twitter may have led to us finding out the release date of Halo 5: Guardians.

According to DualShockers, Michael Cavanaugh tweeted a picture showing his excitement about joining the 343 Industries team to work on Halo 5: Guardians. In the picture, Cavanaugh, an eSports Halo coach and Prima Games author, can be seen in a cafeteria-like area with a massive 343 Industries banner in the background, strongly suggesting (but unconfirming), that this picture was taken at one of 343's studios. Under the banner is what appears to be a timer.

The digital sign underneath the 343 Industries banner mysteriously reads "382." If this sign was a viable countdown to the release of Halo 5: Guardians, this number would put the game's release date on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015.

The month of November is no stranger for launching Halo games. Halo: Combat Evolved launched on Nov. 15, 2001. Halo 2 debuted on Nov. 9 2004. Halo 4 hit stores on Nov. 6, 2012. Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be in our hands on Nov. 11, 2014. Hopefully, this countdown is correct and we see Halo 5: Guardians on Nov. 10, 2015. Given the sheer amount of content that The Master Chief Collection offers, we wouldn't be surprised if 343 Industries gave us a full year to explore John-117's optimized anthology.

Given Master Chief as long as he needs, he probably has a really bad hangover right now.
